Why not spend your lunch break at the cinema? Every 2nd Wednesday between November and April, we host the "Lunch-Kino" (cinema lunch) at the Kino Seehof. Films begin at 12:15pm (the cinema opens at 11:30am). Warm soup, appetizers, and various other snacks and treats will be available at the cinema bar.
Look for the voucher published in the Zuger Woche a week before the screening to get two tickets (standard category) at a reduced price of only CHF 10.- each (instead of CHF 18.-). Simply cut out the voucher, bring it to the box office and enjoy the "Lunch-Kino"!
The films are generally sneak previews. Titles will be announced ten days in advance.

SYNOPSIS AVAILABLE IN GERMAN ONLY - In den 1970er Jahren wurde die hochalpine Landschaft Greina, die Graubünden mit dem Tessin verbindet, schweizweit bekannt. Der Künstler Bryan Cyril Thurston setzte sich 20 Jahre gegen den Bau eines Stausees in dieser grossartigen Hochebene ein. «Nur die Poesie kann die Greina retten» war seine Maxime. Der geplante Bau des Stausees wurde auch dank seinem Einsatz verhindert. Heute widmet sein Sohn, Patrick Thurston, der Kunst seines Vaters und dem Kampf der Landschaftserhaltung einen berührenden Dokumentarfilm. GREINA überzeugt in seiner Schlichtheit und seiner poetischen Kraft.
